The following statistics were extracted from webserver logfiles of a relatively busy Postnuke site. They only cover a few days of traffic, so there might be some temporary peak loads on particular URLs.

Average response time with ab : 1315 ms (anonymous)
Who's Online block causes 300 ms delay - adding an index on pn_lastused in table nuke_session_info reduced processing of Who's Online to 8 ms

Average response time with ab : 2750 ms (logged in)
Left blocks cause 1600 ms (!) delay in total - adding an index on (pn_bid,pn_uid) in table nuke_userblocks resolves that problem
