To anyone whose been to/lives in NZ. I currently live in the UK and am emigrating with my
family to NZ at the beginning of 2003. Where do you think the best place to live is? We
like warm weather (lots of it!). I havew 2 kids age 6 and 1. We like waterskiing,
beaches and snowskiing. Any ideas would be great!!

Well, if you're looking for some warmth, New Zealand certainly has that from its people,
but not particularly from its climate. I'd say that the temperatures would be roughly
equivalent to what you can find between France and Norway, with the North Island being
generally warmer than the South Island...
Check out some of the climate charts on the Internet to get a better idea, for instance at
http://www.nzvacation.co.nz/climate.html

Of course, there's a few other considerations to keep in mind if you're planning to move,
like your preference for a big city, a smaller town or somewhere really secluded, the
possibility of good schooling and jobs, and so on :-)
